A perfect day
Shannon Besenfelder and the staff at the Emerald Event Center were unbelievably professional, efficient, accommodating, and kind. We had the best day of our lives! They thought of everything from putting champagne and chocolates in our wedding night suite to making sure all of the small details were taken care of. Our reception ran unbelievably smoothly! I would highly recommend the Emerald Event Center!

Amazing, detail-oriented, all-in-one place!
We had the most amazing experience with Emerald Event center!! Shannon is an expert communicator. She was very responsive and handled every detail exactly as we requested. The price was a great deal; it included a fantastic full bar, linens, delicious food throughout the whole night, and our cake. When we arrived after our off-site ceremony, the room was more beautiful than we imagined. She took the time to get everything set up exactly as we requested. The evening flowed so smoothly thanks to a very attentive staff. A server even approached me after the reception ended to ask if I wanted my glass of wine back- I had set it down while dancing and she kept track! The hotel attached was a huge bonus and let us socialize with our guests easily all weekend long. We had the best day thanks to Emerald. It would not have been the same anywhere else. A dream venue
We worked with Shannon Besenfelder for our wedding on July 29th and could not have been more impressed. From the moment we toured the venue all the way to the reception, Shannon was in constant contact and made us feel totally confident.
We wanted a venue that didn’t require any setup on our part. Emerald was perfect because I was able to drop off all of the centerpieces, table cards, etc. and all we had to do was get married and enjoy the evening. The room looked even more gorgeous than we anticipated!
I wish I could get married again simply to work with Shannon. You can tell she loves what she does. Shannon made wedding planning completely stress-free and was able to accommodate all of our requests.
Our guests had high praise for the food and staff (thank you Sue and Kevin!). They especially loved being able to walk upstairs to their room after an open bar. I cannot recommend Emerald Event Center enough – it is five star service from beginning to end.

Elegant and perfecty coordinated reception venue!
Emerald Event Center was the perfect place for our wedding reception! Shannon is an excellent communicator and was attentive to every detail of our big day. We loved having every linens, decor, cake, and delicious food all included with our package. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The attached hotel was a huge bonus and really became a central hub for our family and friends all weekend long. Thank you to Emerald and their amazing staff for such a great experience and a perfect wedding reception!

Amazing Vendor Experience at Emerald Event Center!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about hosting our wedding at the Emerald Event Center. Shannon and her team were amazing to work with. From our initial consultation meeting, we really felt that Shannon cared about providing a unique and positive experience. She was always responsive and timely in her communications and quick to answer any questions we had. We have continued to receive many compliments from our guests about the reception. The food, catered in-house, was the best wedding food we’ve ever had. The hotel connected to the reception space was especially convenient for our large number of out-of-town guests with a very reasonable hotel block price. The venue staff did an excellent job setting up the venue to our specifications. We could not be more pleased with how accommodating, friendly, and professional everything was. Thank you for being an integral part of our BEST DAY EVER!

Please know how pleased we were with our event on Saturday, October 14th. You were right, we undoubtedly were in good hands from beginning to end! The staff was attentive and helpful. We’ve received so many compliments on every detail involved—ambiance, staff courtesy, food, etc. Can’t thank you enough for all of your assistance and guidance in planning an event that will forever be part of our church’s history! Easy and Helpful
Shannon was AWESOME! My event went off so well. The hotel held our decorartions and even our marriage contract the day before. One stop shop. They cleaned up everything afterward and put our decorations in front of our suite so we could easily take it home. The food was GREAT! So many compliments. The room looked beautiful! 10/10

The event was all we hoped for. The set-up was beautiful. The staff was outstanding in their service – as we were planning – in handling the set-up – and in all the functions they had during the event. I was surprised at how attentive they were when they came up to me to ask if they could fix me a plate because they noticed I had not gone through the line. Many of our guests specifically mentioned to us how tasty the food was. We would be happy to give anyone a referral to your venue.

Phenomenal Experience!
The Emerald Event Center was perfect all around. Our guests commented that the food and cake were both some of the best they’ve ever had! We had 250 guests and the space was perfect, including the beautiful courtyard. The wait staff and bartenders were friendly and efficient. Shannon was SO helpful during the entire process, she was quick with her responses and helped bring my dream wedding to life!

Super simply put, you will not get anymore bang for your buck anywhere else. The Emerald Event Center is beautiful, clean, new, and attentive. They handle nearly everything and make sure the logistics are taken care of, even on rehearsal day. I’ve heard so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious dinner tasted. I could not be more grateful for everything the team took care of here.

Emerald Event Center was the absolute perfect location for our wedding. The staff was incredible from day 1. Of course, our wedding was during the pandemic and we had to postpone. Kelly Arthur and her team pivoted with me every step of the way. She was just as excited (with good news) and sad (with bad news) for me every step of the way and I will never forget that. When we pulled up to EEC on our wedding day, I saw her and said, “there is my girl!” with a huge smile on my face. She was so sweet to give us a personalized gift which means I know she listened to me talk about my dog multiple times :). The day of the wedding (at 3pm, while we were in church getting married), the governor put restrictions on alcohol and closed all bars across the state early. They were very kind and flexible and had little surprises to make it better! The food was great, the staff was amazing, and the overall experience will NEVER be forgotten. I highly recommend! You know they love what they do – it’s more than just a job for them.

Planning a wedding through Covid, you would think be a nightmare. Kelly made the experience so enjoyable and so much less stressful than I expected. Kelly was fantastic figuring out ways to keep the wedding elegant even while following safety protocols from the state. She listened to my ideas and did everything she could to make our wedding perfect. She truly cared about making our day special and personal. The venue was stunning and the food was great. Perfect is an understatement for how great this venue was.
